Greenville:

Coppercreek Camp:1-800-350-0006 They will be opening up their facility to Bears' runners! They offer 19 nine-person cabins (no bedding) with hot showers and cooking facilities. We have a LOT of runners stay here and we highly recommend it! The cost is $20 per person, per night. VERY RUSTIC. Contact us at Running with the Bears and we will reserve you a cabin! The Hideaway Motel: FULL. (530) 284-7915 Address: 761 Hideaway Road, Greenville. A restful lodge five minutes from downtown Greenville. The Hideaway is small, secluded and very peaceful year round. 
The Oak Grove Motor Lodge:  FULL. (530) 284-6671  (but they do keep a cencellation list) Address: 700 California 89 Greenville. Oak Trees surround you in a quiet mountain setting. We offer cozy cabins with fully equipped kitchens. Our cabins all have knotty pine interiors and can sleep from one person to 8 people. HBO and WiFi are included.
The Quail Lodge: (9 miles North of Greenville in Canyon Dam). (530)-284-0861 Address: 29615 Highway 89, Canyon Dam. The Quail Lodge Lake Almanor offers Old-fashioned hospitality and Memorable vacations. Please let us know about your groups. Our expertise is arranging fishing and hunting adventures, along with golf retreats. We also have individual rooms only available.Quail Lodge is a rustic style lodge with cedar walls and beams. The floors are warm wood covered with decorative area rugs and fine leather furniture. The heavy rocked fireplace welcomes you upon arrival. The d├ęcor is mountain lodge with fishing and hunting themed rooms.
Greenville Vacation Rentals: Contact the Race Director Josie at jlitchfield@mountaincircle.org We are working with local homeowners and will match available houses with runners-in-need. We also have a  list of locals willing to rent to you their guest room or cottage. Again, just give us a call or email and we will match you with a local and affordable place to stay.

Lake Almanor Area (15 miles North of Greenville):

Vagabond Lake Front RV (and cabin): (530) 596-3240 Address: 7371 Hwy 147 East Shore, Lake Almanor, CA 96137 Stay at the cleanest, quietest, friendliest camp on the lake, while enjoying trophy fishing, water sports or just relaxing. In camp you will find BBQs, horseshoe pits, a laundromat, clean rest rooms and showers, boat launch and dockage, lake front picnic areas and swim area.

Chester Accomodations (25 miles North of Greenville, closer to Mt. Lassen):

The Feather Bed: 283-0102 Address: 542 Jackson Street, Quincy. Choose a guest room upstairs in the main house or a private guest house. Private baths - some with claw foot tubs - are located in each room. Delicious and abundant country breakfast.
Quincy Ranchito Motel: (530) 283-2265 Clustered around a relaxed spacious forest-like setting, Ranchito Motel's early California style historic units afford the visitor clean airy rooms with beamed ceilings and individual design.

Camping Camping/Distances:

Taylorsville Community Campground (530) 283-6299 This is the closest campground to the start line. 100 sites, RV, tents, flush toilets, showers, piped water, dump station, pay phone, tennis court. You cannot reserve a site here but WE CAN!! Our volunteers will go out to the campground on Friday morning (August 15th) and will get you a site for Friday and/or Saturday night. Simply send us a check made out to the Taylorsville campground for $14.00 per night, and make a note as per your camping mode (RV or Tent) and any special requests.
